From mountain top, to valley bottom. Rafting allows you to see the wilderness beauty from a whole different angle, often rushing past it as your raft crashes through the eddies. The Green River Tour takes you a little further north to a stunning Green lake, here you get to meet your guide and learn the rules of the raft before heading down the river to catch those rapids!
What better way to relax after those cold rapids than to soak in a hot tub? Level two of the Westin features a gym, pool, hot tubs, sauna and eucalyptus steam room. Come and unwind. Why not get a massage from the Avello Spa? Their trained therapists offer a wide range of different treatments tailored to your every need. Afterwards order a poolside drink on the patio and relax in the sunshine with the mountains in the background - you’re on holiday!
Having worked up an appetite, it’s time to let us do the cooking. Take a seat in our award winning Grill & Vine restaurant to experience the best of Pacific Northwest cuisine teamed with local BC wines. As the sun sets behind Sprout Mountain the alpine glow bathes the restaurant in a pink hue. This is true mountain dining.
You’re rising with the bears for a round of golf on one of Canada’s topped ranked courses. Take a two minute hotel shuttle ride and you’re ready to swing into action on the Arnold Palmer-designed Whistler Golf Club.
Now you’ve had a play on one of our four pristine landscaped courses it’s time to get rough and ready in the back country. Outdoor Adventure’s 4WD Hummer Tour is a great way to get out there and explore. Within the ancient cedar forests you will be taken to stunning viewpoints and pristine alpine lakes. Keep your eyes peeled for bears and even the elusive Canadian Moose. The custom 4x4 vehicles run on 100% bio-diesel which they make themselves from used vegetable oil from local restaurants! The Hummer Tour is an eco-friendly way of getting the most out of Whistler’s backyard.
As another evening rolls in meet on level one of the Westin at the Firerock Lounge for your Whistler Tasting Tour. Your hosts are locals who expertly guide you around four top Whistler restaurants. Matched with local wines, this is a great way to see the village and taste what it has to offer. Then it’s up to you whether you head out to the next bar or back to that Westin Heavenly Bed.
As it is the most important meal of the day, why not head down to our award winning Grill & Vine for our breakfast buffet. Have your omelette made just the way you want it, with coffee free flowing and the sun shining in the floor to ceiling windows. This is the best way to start your day.
The Peak to Peak is one way to get across the valley but there is another…Zip Trek! High up in the tree canopies you are guided through a series of exhilarating zip lines that send you spinning into the air, up to 200 ft above the valley floor. Your guides are not only experts in zipping but explain the ecology of the area and Whistler’s efforts to move towards a more sustainable and eco friendly future. Aptly named the eagle tour, you can spend a whole afternoon soaring above it all. Open all year round, this three-hour tour is fun for all the family.
